The Weir Catering team is led by an Executive Chef and Catering Director whose combined service here exceeds 25 years. With an emphasis on seasonal and organic products, we source locally whenever possible and offer seasonal menus unique to each client. Whether it be an intimate dinner party or a large reception, we can provide a comprehensive approach, managing every aspect of your event.

Kevin Weir, Founder
Kevin has enjoyed nearly 40 years in the hospitality industry with over 25 years as founder and owner of Weir and Associates. His early career experiences include Food And Beverage management at both Hyatt and Westin St Francis Hotels in San Francisco. In the decade prior to opening Weir & Associates, he held management positions at two local private country clubs.
Edip Borluca Managing Partner/Operations
Executive Chef Edip Borluca joined Weir & Associates in 2002, bringing his own creativity, consistency and style to our kitchen. The business's growth has doubled under Edip’s management, enabling our capacity to recruit talented staff, modernize the facility and diversify cuisine. Edip is a native of New York, where he earned his culinary degree. His early career began in the fine dining restaurants of Manhattan's Theater District. While Chef Borluca can push many culinary boundaries, his influences and strengths lie in Mediterranean and Californian cuisine.
Samantha Bryer Managing Partner / Sales & Events
As Director of Catering and Events since 2003, Samantha oversees logistics, menu planning and design. Prior to joining Weir and Associates, she spent 10 years with Joie de Vivre Hospitality and The Four Seasons, working in sales, marketing and catering & event planning. A graduate of UCLA, her early career was in the fashion industry where she cultivated her current passion for event themes, décor, design, lighting and management. Both clients and staff appreciate her detail-oriented and creative approach.
Lauren Chu event Director
Lauren Chu joined the Weir & Associates team in 2015, quickly becoming a valuable part of our team. As Event Director her wide range of responsibilities includes menu planning, event management and client relations. Lauren's passion for event planning developed as an undergraduate at UCLA Catering. Lauren remains enthusiastic about bringing ideas to life and executing seamless events of all sizes. Clients appreciate her calm demeanor, attention to detail and organized approach.
Ariana Sacchi Event manager
Ariana has a real devotion for our industry. As a student she came to Weir & Associates in October 2015 as an intern. She recently graduated from San Jose State University in May 2017 with a Bachelors of Science in Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management. Ariana is putting her education to work alongside our team. Attention to detail and an eye for creativity help Ariana make event planning exciting.
